  They lost our room reservation (but did fix it), they had no pillows or towels available, we were told there was a free continental breakfast but there was none when we woke up. We went to the breakfast buffet and ended up paying 13 a person. That would have been fine but there was no food ever on the buffet. They could not keep up with the flow of customers, there was no high chair available, and the food was gross. In the water park the lifeguards were very attentive and they really did their job.

  We have gone to Splash Universe many times in the past 10 years. While the service at the front desk has never been great, the life guards were attentive and kind. And I felt safe being there with my 4 children. Last summer we went to the water park for the day and unfortunately, someone stole my phone. I immediately told the manager and she did nothing to help. In fact, her response was "Well, these things happen." I was stuck in a water-park with 6 kids (mine and 2 friends) and no phone and I was freaking out. I asked to use the desk phone and they said it was against their policy. I asked to use any phone to contact my husband and I was treated poorly. After contacting the police, I asked if they could look on their security cameras to see if they picked up anything and was told "We don't do that." I got NO help the front desk staff or the manager. The arcade staff and the life guards however were amazing. They saw me looking frantically and offered to help (the ones on break or working the pool deck) They went through the bins of towels, through the bathroom, the lockers, even the trash. If only the rest of the staff was as helpful as them.
